New Delhi: Ashu Shinghal, CEO of GAIL Gas Limited, undertook a two-day visit to the Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ) covering Vrindavan, Kosi, Firozabad and Agra, reviewing the company’s operations, ongoing projects and clean energy infrastructure expansion in the region.
He was accompanied by Ashish Yadav, CGM and Officer-in-Charge of the TTZ Region. During the visit, the CEO inaugurated new commercial PNG connections and the region’s 60th CNG station.
GAIL Gas CEO Reviews Operations and Expansion Plans
During the two-day visit, Ashu Shinghal reviewed operation and maintenance activities, ongoing projects, network expansion and business growth initiatives across the TTZ region. He also interacted with the TTZ team, appreciated their efforts and provided guidance on further expanding PNG and CNG infrastructure to support greater adoption of clean energy.
The visit covered key locations in Vrindavan, Kosi, Firozabad and Agra, with a focus on strengthening GAIL Gas’s energy distribution network in the region.

GAIL Gas Store and LNG Project Reviewed at Kosi
At Kosi, Shinghal inaugurated the GAIL Gas Store and reviewed the ongoing LNG project. The review covered the progress of the project and the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its gas infrastructure and services in the TTZ region.
150th and 151st Commercial PNG Connections Inaugurated
In Vrindavan and Firozabad, the GAIL Gas CEO inaugurated the company’s 150th and 151st commercial PNG connections.
The connections were inaugurated at:
- Braj Nidhi Kitchen, Chandrodya Mandir, Vrindavan – 150th commercial PNG connection
- Firozabad Club, Firozabad – 151st commercial PNG connection
The milestones mark the continued expansion of GAIL Gas’s commercial PNG network and its efforts to increase access to cleaner natural gas for commercial users.
GAIL Gas Inaugurates 60th CNG Station in TTZ
During the visit, Shinghal also inaugurated the 60th CNG station in the region at Kumar & Sons, Jio-BP Retail Outlet.
The expansion of CNG infrastructure is aimed at supporting the availability of cleaner automotive fuel and strengthening GAIL Gas’s CNG network across the TTZ region.
Focus on Clean Energy Adoption Under NIRMAN Initiative
The visit forms part of GAIL Gas’s ongoing NIRMAN initiative, which focuses on powering progress and building possibilities in the regions where the company operates.Through the expansion of PNG and CNG infrastructure, GAIL Gas is working to support greater adoption of natural gas and contribute to the development of clean energy infrastructure.
The visit also provided an opportunity to assess ongoing activities on the ground and guide the TTZ team on further network expansion and business growth.
