IPS officer Rashmi Shukla, the current Director General (DG) of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has been assigned the Apex Pay Scale at Level-17 in the pay matrix. This event was confirmed by an official order published on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). The Cabinet Appointments Committee has approved the proposal provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs, assuring the immediate implementation of the Apex Pay Scale for Ms. Shukla.
