Srinagar/Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of two administrative officers in a minor reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and improving administrative efficiency in the Union Territory.
The order was issued under Government Order No. 1019-JK(GAD) of 2026 by the General Administration Department (GAD) and approved under the authority of the Lieutenant Governor.
Pranjal J. Hazarika Appointed ADDC Baramulla
As per the official order, Pranjal J. Hazarika, IAS (AGMUT:2021), who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Labour and Employment Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Baramulla.
He has been assigned the new role against an available vacancy and will take charge with immediate effect.
Vishavjeet Singh Posted as ADC Billawar
In another key change, Vishavjeet Singh, JKAS, who was awaiting posting orders in the General Administration Department, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Billawar.
He replaces Vinay Khosla, JKAS, who has been directed to report back to the General Administration Department and await further adjustment orders.

Vinay Khosla Sent to Await Further Orders
According to the official notification, Vinay Khosla, JKAS, has been relieved from his earlier assignment and placed at the disposal of the General Administration Department. His next posting will be decided separately.
Transfer Orders Issued by General Administration Department
The transfer and posting orders were formally issued by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department. The reshuffle has been implemented with immediate effect as part of routine administrative requirements.
Officials stated that such postings are part of ongoing efforts to ensure efficient governance and effective public service delivery across districts.
