Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is rapidly strengthening its position on the global tourism and film production map, driven by the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and continuous efforts of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. The state is now emerging as a global filming destination, with its rural culture, heritage, and spiritual richness set to be showcased in over 80 countries worldwide.
An international television series titled “Rural Tourism of the World”, produced by Spain’s renowned production house Colors Communication Group, has been filmed across several picturesque and culturally rich locations in Madhya Pradesh.
International Collaboration Boosts Film Tourism
The project is a direct outcome of strategic collaborations and MoUs signed during the FITUR Madrid 2026 tourism fair in Spain earlier this year. These agreements have helped position Madhya Pradesh as a film-friendly global destination, attracting international production teams.
Under the guidance of senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, the state is being actively promoted as a hub where cinema, culture, and tourism blend seamlessly.
