New Delhi: Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) informed stock exchanges that the tenure of three of its part-time non-official Independent Directors concluded on April 17, 2026, in compliance with the Ministry of Defence directive.
Directors Whose Tenure Concluded
The Independent Directors who completed their term are:
- V.T. Rema
- Ajay Kumar Chauhan
- Ms. Aruna Sarap
Their departure marks a key transition in the company’s board composition, effective immediately.

Regulatory Compliance
MIDHANI’s announcement was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, ensuring transparent and timely disclosure to investors and stakeholders. The transition follows the Ministry of Defence communication dated April 18, 2025, which guided the conclusion of their tenure.
Board Composition Update
With the conclusion of the tenure, the three directors no longer hold their positions on the Board of Directors of MIDHANI. The company continues to uphold good corporate governance practices and is expected to appoint successors to strengthen its leadership.
