New Delhi: Petronet LNG Limited has announced the incorporation of its wholly owned subsidiary, MC2 Foundation, as a Section 8 company to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth in India’s energy sector. The foundation was incorporated on April 3, 2026, and received its Certificate of Incorporation from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on April 17, 2026.

MC2 Foundation aims to serve as a dedicated platform for start-ups, research translation, and commercialization within the energy ecosystem. The initiative aligns with India’s national development priorities and energy transition goals.
