Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Interacts with ITI Trainee Girls, Encourages Technical Skills and Confidence

MP CM reviews students’ training, government scheme benefits and innovative projects while urging them to stay connected with farming and their roots.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav encouraged trainee students at a government tribal women’s Industrial Training Institute (ITI) to remain confident, develop strong technical skills and stay connected with their roots and agriculture.

He said technical education and skill development are among the most powerful means of making the country’s youth self-reliant. The Chief Minister made the remarks while interacting with trainee students during his visit to the Government Tribal Women’s ITI.

Public Works Minister and Chhindwara district in-charge Rakesh Singh, MP Vivek Banti Sahu, Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal, Divisional Commissioner Dhananjay Singh and other public representatives were present during the visit.

CM Mohan Yadav Interacts With ITI Trainees

During his visit, CM Mohan Yadav inspected various laboratories at the institute and interacted with trainee students about their training, career plans and the benefits they were receiving under different government schemes.

At the Mechanical Lab, the Chief Minister received information about the CRDI four-stroke diesel engine and appreciated the students undergoing training on a lathe machine.

The interaction focused on how technical education can help young women build careers while also contributing to their families and communities.

CM Encourages Students to Combine Technical Skills With Farming

During his interaction with the trainees, Sushma Uike, a student of the Fitter trade, told the Chief Minister that her parents are engaged in agriculture and that she wants to build her future through technical training.

CM Mohan Yadav encouraged her to maintain the same confidence and said that students should remain connected with agriculture along with developing technical skills.

Another trainee, Radha Udke, told the Chief Minister that she plans to apply the technical skills learned during her training to farming as well.

She also expressed her ambition to establish her own technician machine and hardware workshop in the future. The Chief Minister appreciated her determination and wished her success in her career.

Trainees Share Details of Government Schemes

CM Mohan Yadav also asked the trainees about the benefits they were receiving through various government schemes.

During the interaction, trainee Meena Karveti confidently explained the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana and PM Vishwakarma Scheme.

She told the Chief Minister that her training has helped her develop skills in several technical areas, including:

  • Binding work
  • Fan repair
  • Electrical wiring
  • Joining machine parts

She also highlighted that she performs these technical tasks while following required safety standards.

CM Highlights Role of Youth in Society

Impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the trainees, CM Mohan Yadav said their responsibility is not limited to improving their own lives.

He encouraged them to use their skills and knowledge to bring positive changes to society and improve the lives of others.

The Chief Minister emphasised that technical education and skill development can provide young people with opportunities for self-reliance while strengthening their contribution to the wider economy.

Students Showcase Creativity Through ‘Waste to Art’

The Fitter trade trainees also showcased their creativity by presenting the Chief Minister with a guitar made under the ‘Waste to Art’ concept and a cannon created from waste materials.

CM Mohan Yadav appreciated the students’ creative efforts and said that combining innovation with technical skills is an excellent example of the talent and creativity of young people.

The institute also presented the Chief Minister with its admission brochure during the visit.

CM Mohan Yadav Plants Mulberry Sapling

As part of his visit, CM Mohan Yadav planted a mulberry (shahatoot) sapling on the institute campus.

The plantation activity conveyed a message of environmental conservation and highlighted the importance of incorporating environmental responsibility into development and skill-building initiatives.

The Chief Minister also joined the trainee students for a group photograph at the institute.
