New Delhi: The fourth annual Nexus of Good Awards will honour 25 outstanding individuals and organisations on November 16, 2025, at PHD House, New Delhi. The awards aim to recognise exemplary initiatives across governance, education, technology, environment, health, and community service that are creating measurable positive impact in society.

Celebrating Positive Change Amidst a Negative Narrative

The Nexus of Good movement, through its awards and initiatives, seeks to highlight and replicate good work happening across India. With a growing portal, www.nexusofgood.com, thousands of positive stories and regular city chapter events, the platform is creating an alternative narrative to counter pervasive negativity, especially impacting young minds.

Government Officials Recognised for Transformative Initiatives

Several IAS and IPS officers have been recognised for innovative governance and administrative reforms:

  • Rajendra Pensiya (IAS, Uttar Pradesh cadre): Recognised for biodiversity restoration and water conservation in Sambhal District, rejuvenating 209 km of river and upgrading government schools.
  • Mohit Garg (SP, Rajnandgaon): Awarded for leveraging technology in traffic and crime management, dramatically improving conviction rates.
  • Naveen Kumar Chandra (IAS, Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal): Honoured for a “waste to wealth” initiative, transforming plastic into usable resources across the district.
  • Kerala High Court: Recognised for establishing the country’s first digitally-driven native court to fast-track cheque dishonour cases.

Environmental Champions Making a Difference

The awards also highlight innovative work in environmental conservation:

  • Indian Forest Service Officer (Gondwana District): Pioneered the establishment of a Marine Fossil Park to preserve geological heritage.

Education and Technology Transforming Lives

Education-focused initiatives formed the largest segment of awardees:

  • Himanshu Nagpal (IAS, Varanasi): Launched “Mission Parvartan” to modernise Anganwadi centres, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020.
  • Neelotpal (SP, Gadhchiroli): Introduced village libraries as centres of learning and dialogue in a terrorism-affected district.
  • Ashima Mittal (IAS, Nashik, Maharashtra): Created “E-Pashu,” India’s first digital livestock management system registering over 13.85 lakh animals.
  • Dell Technologies Solar Communities Hubs India (SCHI): Recognised for bridging the digital divide in underserved communities.

Community Service and Social Innovation Honoured

Community and social welfare initiatives were also acknowledged:

  • Meals and Happiness Charitable Trust: Provided meals, medical aid, and emotional support to cancer patients.
  • Prayoga Institute of Education Research, Bengaluru: Promotes evidence-based education research and nurturing the next generation of researchers.
  • Mypustak.com (Mukul Agrawal): Collects and refurbishes second-hand books, giving them a second life for educational use.
  • VIEWS (Odisha): Promotes organic farming among tribal and Dalit women, creating sustainable livelihoods.
  • Foundation for Mother and Child Health (FMCH): Strengthening the Anganwadi system to make India malnutrition-free.

The Nexus of Good Awards celebrate actionable models of success across sectors, inspiring replication and scaling of initiatives nationwide. From governance reforms to environmental preservation, education upliftment, technological innovations, and community welfare, the awards showcase that collective goodness can create lasting societal impact.
