Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the nation on Monday, 7 June, announced the new vaccine policy and free ration to 80 crore people till Diwali.
PM Modi said that the Centre will provide Covid-19 vaccine free for all adults from June 21 onwards. He also said that the Centre has decided to buy 75 percent of jabs from vaccine makers, including 25 percent of the state quota, and give it for free to state governments.
