ITDC Appoints Shri Malay Kumar Singha as Additional Independent Director Effective June 18, 2026

New Delhi: India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Malay Kumar Singha as an Additional Director (Independent Director) on its Board of Directors. The appointment became effective from June 18, 2026, after the allotment of his Director Identification Number (DIN 11776378).

The appointment marks an important step towards strengthening ITDC’s corporate governance framework and enhancing expertise in legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters.

ITDC Files SEBI Regulation 30 Disclosure

The appointment was formally disclosed by ITDC to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The disclosure included details regarding Mr. Malay Kumar Singha’s appointment, professional background, and terms of directorship as required under applicable securities regulations.

Background of Mr. Malay Kumar Singha’s Appointment

Earlier, on May 26, 2026, ITDC had informed the stock exchanges about receiving a communication from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, through Office Memorandum No. PSU-6/1/2025-PSU dated May 25, 2026.

Through this communication, the Ministry appointed Mr. Malay Kumar Singha as a Non-official Director (NoD) on the ITDC Board for a period of three years.

Following the Ministry’s directive, the ITDC Board approved his appointment as Additional Director (Independent Director) through a resolution passed by circulation on June 5, 2026. With the issuance of his DIN on June 18, 2026, the appointment has officially come into effect.

Mr. Malay Kumar Singha is an Advocate with extensive experience in legal advisory services, regulatory compliance, legal management, and dispute resolution.

  • Complete appointment details, including his profile and terms of appointment, have been submitted to the stock exchanges as Annexure-A under SEBI LODR Regulations.

Term of Appointment

Mr. Malay Kumar Singha has been appointed for a period of three years from the date of the Ministry of Tourism’s order dated May 25, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment follows the Ministry’s direction and reflects ITDC’s focus on maintaining transparency, accountability, and a strong corporate governance structure.
