₹631 Crore Interest-Free Loans
The Chief Minister said around 29,000 Self-Help Groups have been formed over the past four years, connecting nearly three lakh women.

Women’s Role in Punjab’s Progress
Mann said women are increasingly making their mark in education, sports, administration, business, agriculture and other fields. Mann described Teeyan Da Mela as an important celebration of Punjab’s folk traditions and cultural identity. Giddha, boliyan, folk songs, phulkari and traditional Punjabi attire were highlighted as important elements of the state’s heritage.
He said such events can help connect younger generations with their language, traditions and cultural roots.
Wider Development Push
The Chief Minister also highlighted other government initiatives, including cashless healthcare of up to ₹10 lakh per family under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, canal irrigation expansion, free electricity for eligible households and more than 69,000 merit-based government jobs.
