While working in the field, the Chief Minister underlined that natural farming practices—especially the use of cow dung manure—play a vital role in improving soil fertility and protecting the environment.
He urged farmers across Uttarakhand to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and gradually shift toward organic and natural farming techniques. According to him, such practices not only improve long-term soil health but also contribute to environmental conservation.

CM Dhami stated that the state government is continuously working to increase farmers’ income, modernize agriculture, and promote organic produce markets.
He added that combining traditional farming knowledge with modern agricultural technology can make farming more sustainable and economically viable. The government, he said, is actively supporting farmers through multiple schemes focused on:

- Sustainable rural livelihoods
Strengthening Rural Economy and Agricultural Heritage

He also called for greater involvement of the younger generation in agriculture and rural development, noting that their participation is crucial for the future of farming and rural economy.
Family Support and Traditional Values in Agriculture
During the farm activity, CM Dhami was accompanied by his mother, Bishna Devi. Their presence underscored the cultural and familial connection to agriculture and traditional farming values.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that farming is not merely a source of livelihood but an integral part of Indian culture and rural life.
