SVPNPA posted a video of IPS Trainees running the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon on social media platform X, formerly Twitter. It wrote, “Team NPA participated in NMDC Hyderabad Marathon. IPS Trainees of 75 RR, Faculty Members, Staff of Academy and their families along with children completed 42 Km, 21 Km and 10 Km running. Total 452 members completed this marathon….”
The 12th edition of NDMC (National Mineral Development Corporation) Hyderabad Marathon, the flagship event of Hyderabad Runners Society, is a signature event of the city. It is usually held on the last Sunday of August every year. It started in 2011 with the aim to spread awareness about running, an active lifestyle, and to bring the city together for one cause. Considered to be the country’s second largest marathon event, 11,000 runners took part this year. The event was organised by the Hyderabad Runners Society in collaboration with IDFC First Bank.
The participants from Indian Police Academy enjoyed a good run it seems, going by the video posted by SVPNPA. Watch the runners in action below –
