New Delhi: The Territorial Army, in collaboration with CyberPeace, has launched Terrier Cyber Quest 2026 (TCQ 3.0), a national-level hackathon focused on defence, cybersecurity and information-domain challenges.
The initiative brings together participants from academia, industry, research institutions, government organisations and the Armed Forces.
Territorial Army Launches TCQ 3.0
The third edition will focus on emerging areas including:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Cybersecurity
- Threat mitigation
- Digital awareness
- Indigenous technology solutions relevant to national security

Three Competition Tracks
TCQ 3.0 will be conducted through three tracks:
Bug Hunting
Participants will identify and document vulnerabilities in simulated critical-infrastructure environments.
The challenge will begin with an online Capture-the-Flag (CTF) qualifier and conclude with an in-person live sandbox finale.
AI Kavach
This track will focus on AI and machine-learning solutions for:
- Predictive threat intelligence
- Automated defence mechanisms
- Anomaly detection
Creators Challenge
The digital media and storytelling track will invite content creators, communicators and influencers to develop awareness campaigns addressing:
- Deepfakes
- Phishing
- Online scams
- Misinformation
TCQ 3.0: Key Dates
- Registration deadline: August 31, 2026
- Online shortlisting: September 1–10, 2026
- Grand Finale: October 6–8, 2026, New Delhi
- Award ceremony: October 9, 2026
The Territorial Army said the third edition builds on the previous editions of Terrier Cyber Quest and seeks participation from technical talent across sectors.
