New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has recently approved the appointments and tenure extensions of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in various Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs). These appointments are part of the ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in government-run organizations. Below is a list of the key appointments and extensions.

New Appointments:

  1. Piyush Ranjan Appointed CVO of Engineering Projects India Ltd. (EPIL):
    Piyush Ranjan, an officer from the Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) from the 2002 batch, has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Engineering Projects India Ltd. (EPIL), Delhi, which operates under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. His tenure will be effective until June 14, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
  2. Bhagwandas Gajbiate Appointed CVO of Manganese Ore India Ltd. (MOIL):
    Bhagwandas Gajbiate, an officer from the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) of the 2008 batch, has been appointed as the CVO of Manganese Ore India Ltd. (MOIL), Nagpur. MOIL operates under the Ministry of Steel. Gajbiate’s tenure will continue until March 22, 2027, or until further orders.

Tenure Extensions:

  1. Pratima Gupta’s Tenure Extended at Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI):
    Pratima Gupta, an IOFS officer from the 1992 batch, will continue to serve as the CVO of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Delhi, under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Her tenure has been extended for two years beyond June 12, 2025, and will now end on June 12, 2027, or until further orders.
  2. Spurthi Reddy Appointed CVO of Bharat Dynamics Ltd. (BDL):
    Spurthi Reddy, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer of Bharat Dynamics Ltd. (BDL), a public sector enterprise in the defense sector. Details regarding the tenure were not specified in the announcement.
  3. Jagdish Khima Rathod’s Tenure Extended at Deendayal Port Authority (DPA):
    Jagdish Khima Rathod, an officer from the Central Power Engineering Service (CPES) of the 2002 batch, has had his tenure as the CVO of Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, extended. His deputation, which falls under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, has been extended for two more years beyond June 2, 2025, and will now end on June 2, 2027, or until further orders.
