New Delhi: The Government of India on Thursday issued a series of notifications involving transfers, tenure extensions, and repatriation of senior officers across various services, including the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Forest Service (IFS), and Central Water Engineering Service (CWES).
Ashutosh Singh Transferred to IRITM Lucknow
Ashutosh Singh, a 2008-batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), has been transferred from Kanpur after completing a tenure of nearly four years. He has been posted as Professor (Commercial, Training & Vigilance)at the Indian Railways Institute of Transport Management.
An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Singh has built a strong reputation for his expertise in railway operations and commercial management.

Santosh Kumar’s Tenure Extended at NHPC
Santosh Kumar, a 1993-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the AGMUT cadre, has also been granted a three-month extension as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at NHPC Limited.
His tenure has been extended beyond June 6, 2026, up to September 6, 2026.
