Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on Wednesday, despite a busy schedule of ceremonial programmes marking Guru Purnima. The Chief Minister personally met around 200 people, listened to their grievances and directed officials to ensure their problems were resolved quickly, effectively and satisfactorily.
The interaction was held during the Chief Minister’s stay in Gorakhpur, where he also participated in the traditional rituals associated with Guru Purnima.
CM Yogi Personally Listens to People’s Problems
After the Guru Purnima prayers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted the Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple.
People were seated on chairs outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan on the temple premises. The Chief Minister personally went to them and heard their concerns one by one.
During the interaction, CM Yogi assured people that they did not need to worry and that the government would make every effort to ensure that their problems were resolved.
He also received their written applications and handed them over to the concerned officials with instructions for prompt action.
Officials Directed to Ensure Quick and Satisfactory Resolution
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told officials that resolving people’s grievances remains a priority for the government.
He directed the administration to handle every complaint with seriousness and sensitivity and ensure that solutions are provided in a timely, high-quality and satisfactory manner.
The Chief Minister emphasised that every person’s concern should be addressed properly and that officials must ensure that the complainants receive effective solutions.
CM Yogi Assures Financial Support for Critical Medical Treatment
Several people approached the Janta Darshan seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses.
CM Yogi assured them that no person’s treatment would be stopped because of a lack of money.
He directed the administration to complete the necessary process for preparing medical treatment estimates for the concerned patients and send them to the state government at the earliest.
The Chief Minister said that once the treatment estimates are received, funds for medical treatment would be released promptly.
The assurance is aimed at helping financially vulnerable families access necessary treatment without facing delays due to financial constraints.
CM Yogi Blesses Children and Gives Them Chocolates
The Janta Darshan also saw warm interactions between the Chief Minister and children who had accompanied their mothers.
CM Yogi affectionately interacted with the children, blessed them and gave them chocolates.
The interaction reflected the Chief Minister’s personal engagement with people from different sections of society during the public grievance programme.
Government Focuses on Responsive Public Grievance Redressal
The Janta Darshan programme reflects the Uttar Pradesh government’s emphasis on direct interaction with citizens and timely resolution of public grievances.
By personally hearing complaints and directing officials to take immediate action, CM Yogi reiterated that addressing people’s problems remains a key priority of the administration.
The programme also highlighted the government’s focus on ensuring that people facing serious medical challenges receive timely financial assistance so that treatment is not affected by economic difficulties.
