New Delhi: Operation Southern Readiness 26-2 will be hosted by the Indian Navy at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi from 20 to 23 July 2026. The four-day multinational maritime training programme will bring together naval personnel from partner nations under the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF). The exercise aims to improve professional skills, strengthen cooperation, and enhance regional maritime security through practical training and knowledge sharing.
Indian Navy to Host Four-Day Multinational Maritime Training
According to the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Navy will conduct Operation Southern Readiness 26-2 in partnership with the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) under the leadership of Combined Task Force 154 (CTF 154).
The training will take place at the Southern Naval Command, Kochi, one of the Indian Navy’s premier training establishments.
