This step aims to remove mismatches, prevent revenue loss, and strengthen the digital toll system. The move is especially important as India prepares for advanced tolling systems like barrier-free toll collection.

Identify incorrect or invalid entries
Blacklist FASTags with wrong or fake VRNs
