Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has intensified preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jind on July 17, deploying six IAS and Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers to oversee administrative, logistical and coordination arrangements for the high-profile event.

According to an order issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office, Personnel Department, the officers have been assigned specific responsibilities to ensure the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit, which is expected to include a public rally and the inauguration of several development projects in Jind district.

The deployment reflects the state government’s efforts to ensure seamless coordination among various departments for security, traffic management, protocol, public amenities and event logistics.

Six Officers Assigned Key Responsibilities

The following officers have been deputed for the Prime Minister’s visit:

  • Yash Jaluka (IAS:2021:HY), Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram.
  • Vivek Arya (IAS:2021:HY), Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Kurukshetra.
  • Jagdeep Singh (HCS:2013), Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Commissioner, Hisar Division, Hisar.
  • Manish Kumar Lohan (HCS:2013), Additional Director, Civil Aviation, Haryana.
  • Sanjay Bishnoi (HCS:2019), District Transport Officer-cum-Secretary, Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Fatehabad.
  • Rajesh Khoth (HCS:2019), Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Hansi.

Focus on Coordination and Event Management

The officers are expected to coordinate with district authorities and various government departments to ensure all arrangements are completed well before the Prime Minister’s arrival. Their responsibilities will include administrative coordination, transport management, protocol, civic arrangements and other event-related preparations.

Prime Minister Modi’s visit is expected to draw a large public gathering, making detailed planning and inter-departmental coordination essential for the successful conduct of the programme.
