The Haryana Police Department has made several key leadership appointments, as announced earlier today. 1998 batch IPS officer Saurabh Singh has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police for Faridabad, bringing with him a wealth of experience and leadership to the position.
In another significant move, a promotee IPS officer Ashok Kumar (SPS, 2006) has been assigned as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the South Range, Rewari. His extensive service record in law enforcement is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing security and policing efforts across the region.
Meanwhile, 2006 batch IPS officer Om Prakash has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police for Haryana Armed Police (HAP) in Madhuban. His new role marks a major step in strengthening the state’s law enforcement capabilities.
2010 batch IPS officer Rajesh Duggal will be taking over as the Joint Commissioner of Police for Faridabad. His promotion is a key part of the ongoing efforts to enhance policing and public safety in the area.
In additional reshuffling, 2015 batch IPS officer Mohit Handa has been reassigned to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG) for Welfare at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) and will also serve as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB).
