Bhopal/New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh is positioning itself as a growing investment destination, with Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav highlighting the state’s progress at a high-level industry promotion meeting in New Delhi.

The meeting, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, was also attended by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. Yadav said ministers appreciated the investment activity taking place across Madhya Pradesh.

Investor Confidence Drives Investment

CM Yadav said investors are showing increasing confidence in Madhya Pradesh because of the facilities and support provided by the state government.

He said investment proposals are reaching the state in large numbers as businesses find the state’s policy and operating environment favourable.

Yadav also highlighted the progress of the PM MITRA Park, saying the country’s first such park has received full land allocation to industries. He said the development was appreciated during the meeting.

More Projects Moving From Proposals to Ground

According to CM Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is performing strongly in converting investment proposals into actual projects.

He said around 30% of investment proposals in the state have reached the implementation stage, compared with a general rate of around 10%.

Yadav attributed this progress to investor confidence and a transparent administrative system. The higher conversion of proposals into projects could help translate investment commitments into industrial activity and employment.

Why Madhya Pradesh Is Attracting Investors

The Chief Minister pointed to several factors behind the state’s growing appeal, including lower crime levels, electricity availability and access to land.

He said these conditions, combined with government support, are encouraging industries to consider Madhya Pradesh for new projects and expansion.

The growing flow of investments could strengthen the state’s industrial base, create employment opportunities and support development across different sectors.

Focus on Industrial Development

The government’s emphasis on converting proposals into operational projects is significant because investment announcements create greater economic impact when they translate into actual factories, infrastructure and jobs.

With the PM MITRA Park and other investment projects progressing, Madhya Pradesh is seeking to strengthen its position as an industry-friendly state and attract further private investment.

The government’s focus on infrastructure, transparent processes and investor support is expected to remain central to its industrial development strategy.
