Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a high-level review of the state’s ongoing welfare campaigns, including the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Campaign, Sankalp Se Samadhan Campaign, and other government initiatives, through a video conference with all Commissioners and Collectors. The CM emphasized efficiency, timely execution, and public participation to ensure maximum benefits reach citizens.
Small Farmers to Get Priority in Wheat Procurement
CM Dr. Yadav instructed that small farmers’ wheat should be purchased first and payments made promptly. All wheat procurement centers must ensure shade, water, ORS solutions, sacks, and other essential facilities to make the process smooth for farmers.
According to Additional Chief Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies, Rashmi Arun Shami, over 1.13 lakh farmers have already sold 4.96 lakh metric tons of wheat, with payments exceeding ₹355 crore. For the first time, farmers whose wheat was weighed on the first day received payments the very next day, ensuring faster financial support.
