Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the much-awaited Ganga Expressway on April 29 in Hardoi, marking a significant milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure journey.

594-km Expressway to Connect Western and Eastern UP
Stretching over 594 kilometres, the Ganga Expressway will run from Meerut to Prayagraj, effectively linking western and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Additionally, 519 villages will be connected through the expressway, accelerating development in both rural and urban regions.
UP’s Share in National Expressway Network to Rise
Currently, Uttar Pradesh accounts for about 55% of India’s expressway network. With the inauguration of the Ganga Expressway, this share is expected to increase to nearly 60%, reinforcing the state’s position as a leader in infrastructure development.
