RailTel Wins Dun & Bradstreet Award for Strengthening India’s Digital Infrastructure and Fibre Connectivity

New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has been awarded the prestigious Dun & Bradstreet Award under the Nation Building Infrastructure category at the 18th D&B PSUs & Government Summit for its outstanding contribution to nationwide fibre connectivity and the Digital India initiative.

The recognition highlights RailTel’s role in building a robust, scalable, and future-ready communications network across India.

Award Recognises Contribution to National Fibre Connectivity

The award acknowledges RailTel’s significant efforts in expanding high-speed fibre optic connectivity across the country. Its infrastructure has been instrumental in connecting remote regions and enabling digital access for citizens and institutions.

The honour was presented by Dr. Alok Pande, Additional Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Government of India.

Presented at 18th D&B PSUs & Government Summit

The award was conferred during the 18th edition of the D&B PSUs & Government Summit, which recognises excellence among public sector undertakings and government organisations for their contribution to nation-building.

RailTel’s achievement was recognised specifically for strengthening India’s digital backbone through large-scale fibre network deployment.

RailTel’s Role in Digital India Initiative

RailTel has been playing a key role in supporting the Government of India’s Digital India mission by:

The award was received by  Manoj Tandon, Director (Projects, Operations and Maintenance), RailTel, on behalf of the organisation.

Officials noted that the recognition reflects the collective efforts of Team RailTel in building a strong and efficient digital communications backbone for India.
