New Delhi: State-owned telecom and ICT solutions provider RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a significant project worth ₹52.57 crore. The order involves the supply, installation, integration, commissioning, and five years of operation and maintenance of Disaster Recovery IT Infrastructure at a MeitY-empanelled Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Data Centre.
The development further strengthens RailTel’s position in India’s expanding digital infrastructure and ICT services sector.

RailTel disclosed the project details under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations. The total estimated contract value is:
- ₹52,56,69,780 (including taxes)
- Approximate value: ₹52.57 crore
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transactions. Additionally, there is no promoter interest in the project.
Scope of Work Under the Project
The awarded contract includes multiple phases of critical IT infrastructure deployment and support services. RailTel will be responsible for:
- Supply of Disaster Recovery IT Infrastructure
- Installation and system integration
- Commissioning at a MeitY-empanelled CSP Data Centre
- Five years of operation and maintenance (O&M) support
The project is aimed at enhancing disaster recovery capabilities and improving the resilience and reliability of digital infrastructure systems.

The company has confirmed that the project will be completed within a defined timeline:

- Time of receipt: 5:21 PM
- Execution deadline: January 12, 2027
