Dehradun: Uttarakhand has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the sixth fully literate state of India after fulfilling all the prescribed criteria under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the ULLAS (Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society) – Nav Bharat Saksharta Programme.
With this achievement, Uttarakhand has joined the prestigious list of fully literate states that already includes Mizoram, Goa, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
