Indian Masterminds Stories

After the heartbreaking news received a day ago of the death of five-year-old Cheetah, Sasha, that was brought to Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park from Namibia, a tiny ray of hope has flickered again for the popular sanctuary as the Kuno National Park welcomed four newborn Cheetah cubs, delivered by the majestic Siyasa.

All the little ones are in good health and condition and are officially the first coalition to be born as part of Project Cheetah. The birth of the cubs is a positive sign that the cheetahs are adjusting well to their new environment in Kuno.

IFS officer Dharamveer Meena shared an adorable video of the new cubs in his tweet: “Four new Cheetah cubs born at Kuno. Successful breeding is a good indicator of the success of any reintroduction program. Wonderful news for Wildlife conservation in India. #Cheetah #KunoNationalPark

IFS officer Susanta Nanda has also shared this adorable video with his 166k Twitter followers. Twitteratis are celebrating the birth of the new cubs with several people sharing the cute video and expressing their delight.

User Parth Roy also has an important question for the officer, which left several amused:

The video from the park is going viral with people from all over the country rejoicing on the news. God bless the little babies!
