9 IAS Transferred In Madhya Pradesh, Collector Changes in 4 Districts, Jyoti Sharma Made CEO, Dewas

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh state government has issued a major reshuffle of IAS officers, transferring nine officers to new roles across various districts and departments. According to the latest order from the General Administration Department, significant changes have been made, especially in the district collector positions, affecting Ujjain, Ashoknagar, Harda, and Vidisha.

Among the key changes, 2012 batch IAS officer Neeraj Kumar Singh, the current Collector of Ujjain, has been removed from his post and appointed as Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Bhopal. In his place, 2015 batch IAS officer Roshan Singh, the former Collector of Vidisha, will now take over as the new Collector of Ujjain.

Key Transfers:

  • 2014 batch IAS officer Aditya Singh has been transferred from Harda and appointed as the new Collector of Ashoknagar.
  • 2012 batch IAS officer Subhash Kumar Dwivedi, the outgoing Ashoknagar Collector, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department.
  • 2018 batch IAS officer Siddharth Jain, the Additional Collector of Bhopal, has been appointed as the new Collector of Harda.
  • 2016 batch IAS officer Anshul Gupta, who has been holding additional charge as Director of the Public Relations Department and Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Madhyam, has been made the new Collector of Vidisha.

Further appointments include:

  • Jyoti Sharma, an IAS officer of 2018 batch and the Additional Collector of Indore, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Dewas.
  • Himanshu Prajapati, also an IAS officer of 2018 batch and the Chief Executive Officer of Dewas District Panchayat, has been transferred to Indore as the Executive Director of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Gulshan Bamra, the Principal Secretary of the Tribal Affairs Department, has been given the additional responsibility of Chief Office Officer at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Good Governance and Policy Analysis Institute, Bhopal.
  • Ashish Singh, the Collector of Indore, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Mela Officer for the Simhastha Fair in Ujjain, alongside his current duties.
  • Rishi Garg, the Member Secretary of the State Planning Commission and Economic and Statistics Commissioner, has been given additional charge as Director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Good Governance and Policy Analysis Institute.

These changes reflect the Madhya Pradesh government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administration and strengthen governance across various districts and departments.
