Bihar 14 IAS including 12 Retd. Got Promotion On Court’s Order

Good news for 15 IAS officer in Bihar. After a long fight in Patna High Court 14 IAS officers in Bihar have been promoted at Special Secretary rank. According to the order issued by state’s General Administration department 12 of those got promoted are now retired.

The two officer in service who got promoted are Sandeep Pondrik and Mihir Kumar Singh. Mr. Pondrik is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Department of Industries while Mr. Singh is Principle Secretary, Panchayati Raj.

Besides them, 12 retired officers who got promotion are Kumar Ananad, Uday Singh Kumawat, Bhirgunath Upadhaya, Rana Avdesh Kumar, Dayanand Prasad, Anwar Alam Manjar, Ashok Kumar Singh, Bhrigunat Dwivedi, Murlidhar Rai, Birendra Bahadur Pandey, Kamlesh Prasad Singh and Om SM Bande.

Ramashish Sharma Vs Union of India

IAS officer Ramashish Sharma had filed a court case against Union of India in Patna High Court after denied promotion for long time. The case was filed in 2018. On the court’s order IAS officer’s of 1993 batch have been given promotion from 2006.
