He also emphasized strict law enforcement, stating that crime will not be tolerated and action is being taken within 24 hours against offenders.

126 km Ganga-Son Riverfront Marine Drive Project

One of the key announcements was the development of a 126-km-long Marine Drive along the Ganga and Son rivers within the next three years.

The project aims to strengthen connectivity between northern and southern Bihar and improve regional infrastructure.

The Chief Minister also informed that several new bridges are under construction, and the Raghopur bridge is expected to be inaugurated next month, improving connectivity between districts like Samastipur, Hajipur, and Muzaffarpur with Patna.

Expansion of Education Infrastructure: Model Schools Planned

The government also announced major reforms in the education sector.

  • Model schools will be established in all 534 blocks of Bihar
  • 10 modern schools in Patna and several in district headquarters
  • Focus on providing quality and modern education facilities

The initiative aims to strengthen the state’s education system and improve learning outcomes for students.

New Greenfield Townships and Urban Development Plans

CM Samrat Choudhary also unveiled plans for new greenfield satellite townships across Bihar.

The projects are expected to involve large-scale investment in urban infrastructure, with proper compensation to landowners during acquisition.

The initiative is part of the government’s long-term vision to modernize urban development and improve living standards.

Industrial Policy Reforms on the Table

The Chief Minister said the government is open to revising industrial policies based on feedback from business leaders and associations.

He emphasized that Bihar is no longer just being recognized by citizens but is increasingly attracting investor attention, with the goal of becoming one of India’s major industrial states in the future.

The announcements made at the Bihar Chamber of Commerce centenary event underline the state government’s strong push toward infrastructure expansion, industrial investment, and economic transformation, aiming to position Bihar as a key growth engine in the country.
