Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday met three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) probationary officers at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur, who are currently undergoing training at the Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy, Nimora.
The Chief Minister congratulated the officers on their success and encouraged them to serve with dedication, sensitivity, and a strong focus on public welfare.
Administration is a Medium of Public Service: CM Sai
During the interaction, CM Sai said that administrative service is one of the most effective tools of public service. He emphasized that the decisions taken by administrative officers significantly impact the lives of thousands of people.
He advised the probationers to ensure that public interest remains the top priority in every decision, and to work with:
- Sensitivity
- Fairness
- Dedication
He also encouraged them to engage directly with people to better understand their problems at the grassroots level.

IAS Probationers Share Field Training Experiences
The three probationary IAS officers — Gokul R. K., V. Yashwant Nayak, and Ishant Jaiswal — shared their training experiences with the Chief Minister.
They informed him that they had visited several districts during their training, including:
- Sukma and Bijapur (Bastar division)
- Jashpur, Surguja, and Korea (Surguja division)
During their field visits, they studied local governance, development activities, and administrative systems, and also visited the sacred Maa Danteshwari Temple.
Probationers Praise Chhattisgarh’s Cultural Richness
The officers described Chhattisgarh as a state rich in diversity, culture, and warmth. They said the hospitality of the people and the strong tribal traditions deeply impressed them.
They added that serving in public administration is both a privilege and a responsibility, especially in a state with significant development potential.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister shared insights from his public life and governance experience. He encouraged the officers to:
