Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Government has provided a new ray of hope to families affected by Naxal violence by offering government employment under the “Chhattisgarh Naxal Surrender/Victim Relief and Rehabilitation Policy-2025.”
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government has appointed Deva Mandavi, a member of a Naxal-affected family from Dantewada district, in government service.
The appointment is being seen as an important step towards providing financial stability, dignity, and a secure future to families impacted by Naxal violence.
Deva Mandavi Gets Government Job at Dantewada Collector Office
Deva Mandavi, a resident of Dhurwapara village, Aranpur area of Kuakonda development block in Dantewada district, has been appointed as a Peon (Class IV employee) at the Collector Office, Land Records Branch, South Bastar Dantewada.
His father, late Budhra Mandavi, was affected by Naxal violence.
The appointment was granted after the recommendation of the District-Level Rehabilitation Committee and approval from the Dantewada Collector. Deva Mandavi is expected to take charge of his new responsibilities soon.
Appointment Issued Under Rehabilitation Policy-2025
The government appointment has been made according to the provisions of a notification issued by the Home (C-Section) Department on March 28, 2025.
Along with the government job, Deva Mandavi will receive benefits under the Seventh Pay Commission, including:
- Pay Matrix Level-01 salary
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- Other benefits and facilities as per state government rules
