Farmers are benefiting from advanced irrigation systems such as:

  • Drip irrigation
  • Sprinkler systems

These technologies are improving water management and reducing wastage.

Over 24,000 Farmers Benefited Across Schemes

Under various government schemes, a large number of farmers have been covered:

Impact on Rural and Tribal Economy

In tribal regions like Bastar, farmers are now adopting drip irrigation and shifting towards vegetable and horticulture farming, leading to higher incomes.

Modern technology is helping diversify agriculture beyond traditional crops like paddy.

Farmers Share Success Stories

Farmers across the state have reported significant improvements:

  • Reduced labour costs by up to 60% using automatic reapers
  • 20–25% increase in yield with rotavators
