New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd has signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Technology Resource Communication and Service Centre (TRCSC), a Jamshedpur-based NGO, to implement CSR projects under its FY 2026–27 programme.
The agreements were signed at GRSE Bhavan in the presence of Capt (IN) P. Sunilkumar (Retd.), Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel), GRSE. The initiatives aim to promote employment generation and rural livelihood improvement through structured social development programmes.
CSR Framework for FY 2026–27 Focused on Social Impact
These two MoUs establish the framework for CSR-driven projects designed to create measurable impact in education, employment, and rural development. GRSE stated that the initiatives reflect its commitment to driving meaningful social change in its operational areas.
The projects will be executed in collaboration with TRCSC, ensuring targeted implementation for disadvantaged communities and marginal farmers.

Skill Development Programme for Unemployed Youth
Under the first MoU, GRSE will support a structured skill development programme for unemployed youth from disadvantaged communities.
Key features include:
- Industry-oriented vocational training
- Collaboration with TRCSC and Indo-Danish Tool Room
- Focus on employable technical skills
- Support for sustainable livelihood opportunities
The initiative aims to enhance employability and provide dignified job opportunities to youth.
Climate-Resilient Farming Initiative for Marginal Farmers
The second MoU focuses on improving the socio-economic conditions of small and marginal farming families.
The programme will focus on:
- Water conservation and resource management
- High-tech agricultural infrastructure development
- Climate-resilient agri-horticulture practices
- Improved food security and income generation
Officials said the initiative is designed to strengthen rural resilience and support long-term agricultural sustainability.
GRSE Expands CSR Footprint for Inclusive Growth
Through these initiatives, GRSE continues to expand its CSR activities in the areas of skill development, agriculture, and rural upliftment. The company said the programmes align with national priorities of inclusive development, employment generation, and sustainable growth.
