Ranchi: In a significant step towards strengthening sustainable fisheries and rural livelihoods, ICAR–Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology (ICAR-IIAB), Ranchi, and King Fisheries, Ratu have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the areas of fisheries research, innovation, training, entrepreneurship, and livelihood development.
The partnership aims to accelerate scientific advancements in aquaculture while creating new opportunities for fish farmers, tribal youth, women self-help groups, and rural entrepreneurs across Jharkhand.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Sujay Rakshit, Director of ICAR-IIAB Ranchi, and representatives of King Fisheries in the presence of scientists and officials from both organizations.
