Reservation Details
- Three SC vacancies and four ST vacancies are backlog vacancies.
- Three posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
- Reservation includes Blindness/Low Vision, Locomotor Disability, and Specific Learning Disability/Multiple Disabilities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy all eligibility conditions prescribed by the High Court.
Age Limit
As on 15 July 2026:
- Minimum Age: 35 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per rules.
Educational Qualification
For Advocates:
- Must have continuously practiced as an Advocate for at least seven years as on the last date of application.
For Judicial Officers:
- Must have completed seven years at the Bar before joining judicial service, or
- Must have a combined experience of seven years as an Advocate and Judicial Officer.

Delhi Higher Judiciary Exam 2026: Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in three stages.
Preliminary Examination
- Objective-type paper
- Screening test
- 25% negative marking for every incorrect answer
Mains Examination
Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Exam will appear for the descriptive written examination.
Viva-Voce
The final stage evaluates legal knowledge, communication skills, personality, and overall suitability.
Salary Range
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Level J-5.
