11 Industrial Parks Proposed
The proposed parks are spread across Ujjain, Dhar, Dewas-Shajapur, Ratlam, Sehore, Sagar, Guna, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Katni and Rewa.
The Bhensola Industrial Park in Dhar is proposed as a textile park and will expand the PM MITRA Park, supporting the wider textile value chain.
The other parks are expected to support sectors including pharmaceuticals, automobiles, renewable energy equipment, semiconductors, IT and ITeS.
Women-Friendly Industrial Infrastructure
The state also plans facilities to make industrial workplaces safer and more supportive for women. These include day-care centres, CCTV-based security, healthcare facilities, canteens and hostels.
Such infrastructure could help increase women’s participation in industrial employment while improving working conditions.
BHAVYA Scheme to Drive Industrial Development
The Centre’s BHAVYA scheme has an approved outlay of ₹33,660 crore and aims to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across India between 2026–27 and 2031–32.
For Madhya Pradesh, the proposed projects could strengthen industrial infrastructure, attract investment and create direct and indirect employment opportunities across the state.
