Oil India Partners with CSIR to Accelerate Energy Innovation and Strengthen India’s Future Energy Ecosystem

New Delhi: State-owned Oil India Limited (OIL) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to advance research, technology development, and innovation across India’s energy sector. The agreement was signed at OIL House in Noida on June 15, marking a significant step toward enhancing the country’s energy technology ecosystem and supporting long-term energy security goals.

The partnership will bring together CSIR’s scientific expertise and Oil India’s extensive operational experience to develop advanced, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions for both conventional and emerging energy businesses.

Senior leadership from both organizations attended the signing ceremony, including the Chairman and Managing Director of Oil India, the Director General of CSIR, the Managing Director of Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), and other senior officials.
