Patna: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar to provide salary account services and enhanced banking benefits to state government employees. The partnership will enable eligible employees to access benefits under PNB’s Central Government Salary Package, along with a range of financial services and value-added solutions.
The agreement aims to strengthen the relationship between PNB and the Bihar Government while improving banking convenience for thousands of government employees across the state.
PNB and Bihar Government Sign MoU for Salary Account Services
The MoU was signed by Rachna Patil, IAS, Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Bihar, and Laxmikant Mishra, Circle Head, Punjab National Bank.
Several senior PNB officials attended the signing ceremony, including:

- Shachi Thakur, Assistant General Manager, Circle Office
- Neeraj Kumar, CAC Head
The collaboration will allow eligible Bihar Government employees to open salary accounts with PNB and access specialized banking services designed for salaried customers.
