Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday addressed public grievances during the Janata Darshan programme held in Lucknow, directing officials to ensure time-bound resolution of complaints across multiple districts.
The Chief Minister instructed administrative authorities to act swiftly on issues related to encroachment, civic services, and public welfare, emphasizing strict accountability at all levels.
Encroachment Complaint from Mathura Draws Immediate Action
During the interaction, an elderly resident from Mathura raised a complaint regarding encroachment on a village pathway, stating that previous complaints had not been addressed at the local level.
Taking serious note of the issue, the Chief Minister directed the District Magistrate to personally inspect the site and take immediate action.
He stated that:
- If encroachment is confirmed, it must be removed immediately
- Action should be taken against those responsible
- Strict monitoring must be ensured by district authorities
He further reiterated that encroachment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Strict Instructions to Administrative Departments
The Chief Minister instructed officials from multiple departments, including:
- District Administration
- Police Department
- Municipal Corporations
- Development Authorities
He directed them to maintain regular vigilance and respond promptly to complaints related to land and civic issues.

During the Janata Darshan, citizens submitted applications related to:
