New Delhi: The Civil Services Day 2026 witnessed a powerful message from Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, who urged civil servants to uphold integrity, responsibility, and service to the nation. Addressing the 18th Civil Services Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, he emphasized that civil servants are the backbone of India’s governance system and key drivers in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047

He highlighted the importance of citizen-centric governance, inclusive development, and continuous skill upgradation in a rapidly changing world.

The Vice President underlined the famous principle, “With great power comes great responsibility,” reminding civil servants of their crucial role in nation-building.
