Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a ‘Janta Darshan’ session in Lucknow on Monday, where he directly interacted with citizens, listened to their grievances, and reviewed written applications submitted by the public.
During the session, several individuals presented their concerns in writing, which the Chief Minister personally examined. He instructed the concerned officials to take immediate action and ensure timely resolution of the complaints by handing over copies of the applications for necessary follow-up.
The recurring public hearing programme is aimed at strengthening direct communication between the government and citizens, allowing people to raise issues related to administration, welfare schemes, and local governance directly with the Chief Minister.
CM Emphasises Timely Resolution of Revenue-Related Cases
A major focus of the Janta Darshan was also on revenue-related disputes and legal matters. CM Yogi Adityanath clearly stated that the government will not tolerate encroachment under any circumstances and directed officials to take continuous action against such issues.
He also stressed the importance of time-bound disposal of revenue cases, stating that delays often cause hardship to poor litigants. The Chief Minister instructed revenue officials to sit in courts regularly and ensure quick decisions so that citizens can get timely justice.
According to him, delivering justice to applicants and complainants remains a core priority of the government, and revenue officials must work in alignment with this objective.
Launch of ‘Chalo School Campaign’ Phase 2 from July 1
In a separate development, the Chief Minister appealed to teachers and parents to work together to improve school attendance among children as Uttar Pradesh prepares to launch the second phase of the ‘Chalo School Campaign’ from July 1.
In a post on social media platform X, CM Yogi Adityanath stated that July marks not just the beginning of a new month, but also a renewed commitment to ensuring that every child attends school regularly and continues their education.
He urged teachers to make classrooms more engaging so that students develop genuine interest in attending school. He also suggested incorporating activities like sports and games to make learning more interactive and enjoyable.
CM Appeals to Parents for Active Role in Education
Emphasising the role of families in shaping children’s future, the Chief Minister called on parents to focus beyond academic marks.
He said that children should not be evaluated solely on grades, but on their determination, discipline, and dedication. CM Yogi stressed that parents must ensure regular attendance and actively participate in their children’s educational journey.
Government Focus on Education and Administrative Efficiency
The twin initiatives highlighted during the day—public grievance redressal through Janta Darshan and the education-focused ‘Chalo School Campaign’—reflect the state government’s ongoing emphasis on:
- Direct public engagement
- Faster resolution of administrative and revenue disputes
- Improved school attendance and education quality
- Active involvement of teachers and parents in education
Through these measures, the Uttar Pradesh government aims to strengthen governance at the grassroots level while improving educational outcomes across the state.
