Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has taken a new step towards making young people employment-ready by introducing specialised soft skill training for technical trainees.
The mission has selected seven organisations as soft skill partners to provide practical and professional skills that are currently in high demand across industries.
Through this initiative, technically trained youth will receive training in communication, personality development, workplace behaviour, and other essential skills required for career growth.
Seven Organisations Selected as Soft Skill Partners by UPSDM
The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has partnered with seven institutions to strengthen soft skill training for young trainees.
The selected soft skill partners are:
- Wadhwani Foundation
- Generation India Foundation
- Oracle Skill Development Initiative
- Magic Bus India Foundation
- MentorMe Foundation
- Head Held High
- Raina Education Foundation
These organisations will work with the mission to enhance the professional capabilities of youth undergoing technical training.

Youth to Receive Training in Industry-Focused Professional Skills

Principal Secretary of the Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, Dr. Hari Om, said that the initiative will increase confidence among trained youth and improve their chances of getting jobs and succeeding in the workplace.
He added that the programme will give a new direction to employment-focused skill training in Uttar Pradesh and help young people become more competitive in the evolving job market.
