IPS officer SL Thaosen has been appointed as Director General (DG) in the Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (31.05.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Thaosen from the date of joining the post and up to 30.11.2023 i.e. date of his superannuation or till further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, Thaosen is serving as Special Director General, Border Security Force (BSF).
