Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has offered 559 on-the-job training positions under the state government’s Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana, providing eligible youth an opportunity to receive practical training in electricity generation and related functions.
The training will be conducted for one year at the company’s headquarters in Jabalpur and at various hydropower and thermal power stations and offices across Madhya Pradesh. Eligible trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 during the training period.
Training Offered Across Multiple Work Categories
The available training positions cover several categories, including:
- Electrician
- Information and Communication Technology and System Maintenance
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant
- Hindi and English stenography
- Civil Engineering
- Human Resources
- Accounts

Selected candidates will undergo practical training according to their chosen work category and district at the company’s offices and power stations.
The stipend will begin after completion of one month of the training programme, subject to eligibility.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements prescribed for their respective training category.
The general eligibility conditions include:
- Applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Age should be between 18 and 29 years.
- Depending on the training category, applicants must have passed Class 12, ITI, diploma or graduation.
The online application process began on September 23, 2026.
Applications Open Until October 15
Eligible candidates can apply online until 11:59 pm on October 15, 2026 through the official Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana portal.
Registration requires a Samagra ID and Aadhaar e-KYC. Candidates will be selected after scrutiny of applications according to the prescribed eligibility criteria.
