In the video, the tigress is seen cooling off in her preferred waterhole before embarking on her evening patrol as dusk sets in — a time when big cats typically become active. The background echoes with alarm calls of macaques and birds, signaling the predator’s presence and adding to the raw beauty of the moment.
Describing the experience, Mr. Kumar wrote, “After cooling off in her favorite waterhole, the queen walks out to start her evening patrol and hunting in the cooler hours of late evening & night. Her presence is announced by the alarm call of the macaques in the background.”
