Presenting a detailed “report card” after the tour, the Chief Minister said the visit has opened new doors for global investment, technology transfer, and international partnerships.
₹1,300 Crore Investment Boost for Agriculture and Industry
A key outcome of the visit, according to CM Mann, is a proposed investment of around ₹1,300 crore by the Japanese company JAYAKA. This investment is expected to strengthen high-quality agriculture and agro-based industries in Punjab.

The Chief Minister emphasized that such investments will help transform Punjab into a more sustainable and profitable agricultural economy.

During the Netherlands leg of the visit, the delegation studied advanced agricultural practices, including the world-famous Keukenhof horticulture model and vertical farming systems.
CM Mann noted that:
- Netherlands produces up to 100 kg of tomatoes per square meter using polyhouse technology

He said adopting such advanced techniques could revolutionize farming productivity in the state.

CM Mann highlighted that Punjab has already sent three batches of 216 primary teachers to Finland for training, with a fourth batch planned soon.
He said the goal is to integrate Finland’s education practices into Punjab’s school system to improve learning outcomes.
