Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with Assembly Speaker Raman Singh and other ministers, flagged off the ‘Bhawna Didi Ki Science Pathshala’ Mobile Emerging Technology Lab from the Chhattisgarh Assembly premises.
The initiative aims to bring advanced science and technology education directly to school students, especially those studying in government schools and rural areas. The mobile laboratory will provide practical learning opportunities in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, drones, coding and other modern fields.
Mobile Lab to Teach AI, Robotics, Drones and 3D Printing
The Bhawna Didi Ki Science Pathshala-Mobile Emerging Technology Lab has been designed as a moving science classroom equipped with modern technology tools.
Students will receive training in several emerging technology areas, including:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Robotics
- Drone technology
- Aeromodelling
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Coding
- 3D printing
The initiative aims to help students understand future technologies through practical demonstrations and hands-on learning.

CM Vishnu Deo Sai Highlights Importance of AI Education
Speaking at the launch event, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said the initiative comes at a crucial time when the world is entering a new era driven by Artificial Intelligence.
He said that the mobile science lab will travel to middle schools, high schools and higher secondary schools to provide students with knowledge of AI, robotics, drones and other emerging technologies.
The Chief Minister said such exposure will prove highly beneficial for students and help prepare them for future opportunities in the technology sector.
Five-Day Training Camps to Be Organised in Schools
The free mobile science lab will be operated by Bhawna Samaj Sevi Sansthan, an NGO run by Pandariya Assembly constituency MLA Bhawna Bohra.
Under the programme, a five-day training camp will be organised at selected schools. During these sessions, students will learn about:
- How Artificial Intelligence works
- Working principles of drones
- Basics of robotics
- Applications of modern science and technology
The programme will focus particularly on students of Classes 11 and 12, students of government schools and Shishu Mandirs.
5,000-6,000 Students to Benefit Every Year
Bhawna Bohra said the mobile science lab will help students gain practical understanding of advanced technologies that will shape the future.
She said the programme will initially focus on schools in the Pandariya Assembly constituency, including remote and forest areas, ensuring that students from different backgrounds get access to modern technology education.
According to the plan, around 5,000 to 6,000 students will be trained every year through the Science Pathshala initiative.
The mobile lab will follow a structured schedule, staying at each school for five days before moving to the next location.
Ministers Attend Launch Ceremony
The launch ceremony was attended by several senior leaders, including Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, and other officials and representatives.
The initiative is expected to strengthen technology awareness among students and encourage young learners to explore careers in science, innovation and emerging technology fields.
