In today’s world, the privacy of personal data is a myth. While there is a whole lot of debate going on around this topic, the only way to be safe is to be aware. If someone is blackmailing you with compromising pictures or videos, then only the police or people working with them can be of help. No one else. If somebody is claiming that they can remove data from ‘All Places On The Internet’, then they are misleading you.
IPS officer Krishna Prakash has warned people to be aware of such claims. He shared a tweet regarding this and wrote, ” If you are being threatened by someone with any compromising pictures/videos of yours please share that data only with police, or those working with us/ government bodies. We are here to help you. All unsupported claims being promoted by social media influencers should be investigated. Jai Hind”.
